Not just writing them, but sharing them. Sitting in a room together, reading passages aloud, telling the stories behind the stories, and creating an experience that goes far beyond the pages.
That is exactly why I am so excited to officially announce my upcoming Live Book Reading + Meet & Greet at The Last Bookstore Studio City on Wednesday, July 15th.
This event feels personal to me for so many reasons. I lived in Studio City for fifteen beautiful years and have a heart full of memories there.
The Last Bookstore has built such an incredible reputation as a space for readers, thinkers, creators, and storytellers. It is the kind of place where stories come alive, and having the opportunity to bring both of my books — The Life and The Life Back — into that setting feels like the perfect fit.
For this special evening, I will be doing a live reading, sharing passages from both books, and opening up the conversation beyond what is written on the page.
Writing these books was never just about documenting chapters of my life.
It was about reflection, reinvention, honesty, growth, and sharing the lessons from every season of my journey.
The Life marked a moment to look back and understand the path that brought me to where I was.
The Life Back became something even more personal — a deeper reflection on rebuilding, redefining, and embracing change.
