There are certain weekends every summer that have a little extra energy, and this Friday in Carter Lake, Iowa is shaping up to be one of them.
I’ll be spending this Friday night at The Spearmint Rhino in Carter Lake, and I couldn’t be more excited.
The entire area will be buzzing with baseball fans, road trippers, sports conversations, and that unique summer atmosphere that only comes around once a year. Even if you’re not a die-hard baseball fan, you can feel the excitement when a city comes alive around a major sporting event. Restaurants are packed, sports bars are full, and everyone seems to be enjoying the moment.
For me, these appearances are always about the people. I love getting out from behind the screen and spending time with everyone who has followed my journey over the years. Whether you’ve listened to my fantasy football show, watched a podcast episode, read one of my books, or simply followed along on social media, it’s always fun to connect in person.
One of my favorite parts of any appearance is seeing the photos afterward. Everyone has their own story, their own reason for stopping by, and those moments become memories that last long after the event is over. As I like to say, sometimes you’ve just got to do it for the gram.
I’ve always enjoyed visiting Spearmint Rhino locations around the country because the energy is consistently great, and I have a feeling Carter Lake is going to deliver another unforgettable night.
