It’s official: gen online is coming November 10
I’ve been sitting on this one for a long time, and I can finally say it out loud.
My third book,
gen online: What’s Next, from Earning to Learning and the Rise of the Manosphere, lands on Amazon on November 10.
Being an author was always the plan. Still, seeing this cover with my name on it hits
differently. This book took me back through moments I hadn’t thought about in years, and it pushed me to say some things I’ve been holding onto for a long time.
Why this book, and why now
The Life (2015) was about getting my story out. The Life Back (2021) was about taking it
back. gen online looks outward, at everything I’ve watched change in more than 30 years in the adult industry.
When I started, the business was studios, magazines and DVDs. T oday it’s creators
running their own businesses from their phones, fans who expect real-time access, and AI that can talk to them in your voice. I was there for the shift, sometimes early and sometimes, honestly, wrong about where it was headed. I wanted to put down what I’ve learned while it’s still fresh, because the rules are being rewritten right now.
What’s inside
The book is built in three parts:
Setting the Stage: the birth of the creator economy, how people turned screens into
survival, and the rise of the manosphere.
Behind the Screen: subscription platforms, live streaming, the social media tease,
custom content, fan engagement apps, management companies, AI (including my own digital twin), and the shame of being on the internet forever.
Beyond the Screen: where the money is moving, and the hidden mental health toll on the people making it all happen.
It’s full of real stories, the funny ones, the uncomfortable ones, and a few I’m still
processing. That includes the night I was handcuffed outside Radio City Music Hall and turned it into a viral moment before the cuffs even came off .
The part that matters most to me
The chapter I care about most is the one on the manosphere. I grew up hearing some of those same beliefs at home, and I thought I’d outrun that voice. Now I watch it reach a whole generation of boys through their phones, louder and more polished than ever. I’m not writing as an expert lecturing anyone. I’m writing as someone who has seen both sides of the screen.
